Swim Meet 101
Swimmers must be signed up to participate in each meet. Sign ups are through Swimtopia and are due the Friday before the meet. See Meet Sign up Instruction Tab for further directions.
Home Meets:
- Arrive to our home meets by 4:30 p.m. and check your swimmer in. It is very important for swimmers to be checked in in order for substitutions to happen in a timely manner.
- At home meets, our team will sit on the Shark Shack side of the pool and the entrance side of the volleyball courts.
- The Shark Shack is open for concessions during swim meets.
- You may NOT park in the upper lot during meets. This is reserved for meet officials and visiting coaches.
- Arrive early since parking is very limited.
- Write your child's first name, last initial on their right shoulder blade!! This helps a lot with lining kids up for races.
- Day of the meet, if you have an problems please contact Nissa Vogel and Whitney Frack immediately. We will be able to communicate any changes with the coaches.
Away Meets:
- Every away meet is different. As we are preparing for each meet, we will post information about specific logistics for each meet.
- Parking at most meets can be difficult so you may want to plan to arrive early since you may be walking a considerable distance.
- Write your child's first name, last initial on their right shoulder blade!! This helps a lot with lining kids up for races.

What to Bring.....
You know your family best. Swim meets can seem very long to young kids. It is best to be prepared for the meet!!
Things to bring:
- Sherwood swim cap and navy blue racing suit
- chairs or a blanket to sit on
- snacks and plenty of drinks
- activities for your child to do while waiting for their events
