Hello Sharks!

We have our Intrasquad meet Saturday, May 30 starting at 8 a.m.

We strongly encourage all new swimmers to participate in this meet.  It allows you and your swimmer to see how a meet runs and it gives coaches times to help us plan for our dual meets.

ALL SWIMMERS MUST DECLARE for the meet.  ***This includes choosing if you are or are not able to swim!!!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!  

Swim meets depend on volunteers to be successful.  There are many jobs for every meet.  Typically, jobs are divided into first and second half of the meet.  Having the Intrasquad allows parents to try out a new job. 

ALL VOLUNTEERS will meet BEFORE the start of the meet.  We will call for you, but plan on meeting at 7:50 a.m.

Information for new parents about swim meets (in no particular order)

• All swimmers MUST SIGN IN/CHECK IN when they arrive at the pool for every swim meet!  We need to know you are there!  
• SWIMMERS NAMES ON SHOULDERS-First name, Last Initial!!!
• Intrasquad does not follow the same order of events as dual meets.
• Swimmers are lined up for races 3-5 events BEFORE their actual event to ensure we don't miss racers.
• Clerk of Course is at the meet to help ensure swimmers are in the correct lane and heat.
• Relays-Swimmer listed as #1 and #3 line up at the starting end of the pool (near starter)  Swimmers listed as #2 and #4 line up at the opposite end of the pool. 
• Lane 1 is ALWAYS the lane closest to the starter!!
